The employees seem uniquely miserable here. Could be the stuffy clientele, but seems more likely to be the management. There’s something very different about this TJ’s than others that I’ve been to—worth the drive to the one on Lakeshore or the downtown Berkeley location, imo.

Always clean & always stocked or in the process of more stock going on the frequently shopped shelves. Help is usually just a few steps away👀 and easily recognized🌺. The lines move fast. The quality of the food is trustworthy, dependable, 😋 deliscious. Prices I'm grateful for. The smaller floor plan is the perfect size for many of us to find our essentials🍎 and enough other temptations🍺🍝. Only complaint?... A location does not exist in my current hometown of Martinez but most days I pass 4 of them on my commute in & out of Oakland.

Nice, spacious Trader Joe's. It was busy when I went so there was a line. The line veered to the right side of the building near Zachary's where it is shaded. They had mini yellow watermelons and caramel cookie crunch as well as pistachio gelato..Mmm mmm good.. Can't go wrong there! As well as beautiful peonies for $7.99. Get them b4 they r gone!! On June 13, 2020, they have a free gift for graduating high-school seniors..
