Good selection. Great quality. Well stocked and well kept. A little on the pricey side. You get that throwback to the old grocery store shopping experience.

Nice staff and very good selection of local treats, and at surprisingly competitive prices (I expect a small store in Piedmont to be extra spendy). My only warning is don't get the BBQ ribs. My standards are high, but I can confirm that they were not good by any standard.

This quaint little market is in an unknown area of Oakland. They have an excellent and diverse selection of pastries, produce, beverages, deli, packaged goods and pretty much anything you could need. The prices are high, but the location is a bit obscure so it is kind of a funny little place. Parking is super easy, they have a lot of spaces right outside. They also have four tables to sit out should you choose to sit outside and enjoy something you purchased.
