Was back at Mac's with my grandchildren last night. The food was excellent and our waitress was super upbeat and took great care of us. Everyone from my Mother to my grandchildren loves Mac's and it's for a reason. There's a little something special about this place.. and don't get me started about the soup!

This is a very good place to go, if you are on a budget, and like good, hearty, food! While the service staff are spread thin, and is not all that speedy (why I'm only giving 4 stars), the staff were courteous, and got all our orders correct....it is my opinion that the quality of the food, and for the price, it is well worth the trip. The restaurant has good spacing between the tables and chairs, an excellent full-service bar, and of course the Ambiance from such an old historic building, is worth just the price of admission (wonder around if you go there, and check the wall art, photos, deco, etc...). I have eaten here several times before and would recommend it for at least a first time, if not several return visits in the future. Enjoy.

This place is the best, cold beer awesome food, so glad I live in L.A. otherwise I'd be there every night. They have different specials, the fish was off the charts! 5 Stars for sure

During business hours. People usually bring a pot the size they want to have filled. I believe they open for lunch at 11:30am-2pm, then reopen for dinner at 4 or 5pm to close.
The minestrone is delicious! I wouldn't want to give the recipe away. Doesn't hurt to ask them for the recipe? For what they charge for their meals, why not just get an order to go? For me, it's worth the drive (5 miles) for the minestrone soup and the entrēes.
My friend gets certificates and coupons online. Mac's accepts them.
Yes but call in advance so they can set up and ask about payment do they take cash only for big groups they also have a atm machine in the back so you can use it to get cash if you're short on cash.You won't be disappointed with the food and the service. Enjoy
