I was out with my family today and I had the urge to have steak for dinner. I usually buy steaks from The Family Butcher in Dagsboro but I decided to try something new today so I went to the Butcher Block. Without thinking about prices I ordered two ribeyes expecting the total to be around $30, I was very wrong. When the cashier told me it would be $63 my jaw dropped. These weren’t massive steaks but when the price per pound is $38 it adds up quick. All I have to say is, if you want steaks at an affordable price and great quality, skip Butcher Block and head to the Family Butcher in Dagsboro.

Awesome shop! Great meat and service. They process deer meat too! I took 3 deer there last year, the sausage and kielbasa was the best!

This is not a grocery store. Meat and poultry are cut to order. They are very accommodating, great products, and very helpful. I give them FIVE Stars.
