For all the hype and reviews I heard about this place, I was disappointed with my first meal there. They have a very versatile and authentic menu. However not all dishes hit the mark which is the basic expectation of a thali restaurant. My Gujarati thali had a good Shrikhand and Sev tomato but the main two ingredients dal and kadhi failed to impress. The dal was spur to the extent of being stale and the kadhi was bland more than the salt n sweet you expect from a Gujarati fare. The aloo subzi was a good choice since I discarded the dal altogether

Good place for a thali .. the restrooms ( mens) were a bit filthy .. other than that good food if anyones looking for a thali in NJ. We had the Chat thali, Punjabi, Rajasthani and Kesar special thaali.. portions are just about right … so if you are ravenous, as we were, you might end up ordering something in addition to the thaali. We ordered the aloo and paneer parathas.. total around $80-85 for a party of 4

We had the Maharaja thali. Three of us went and it was more than enough for 4 people as they advertise. The service was good, they informed us that the wait for Maharaja thali was about 35 minutes. We truly appreciate that honesty. Food was tasty. Not all items were hot enough, since it is the cold weather out, we would have appreciated if all items came piping hot. Especially the rice and few sides were super cold. We understand that Maharaja platter consists of all their Platter versions, Gujarati, Rajasthani, Punjabi etc. So, maybe that is the reason few items were pre-prepared along with those prior platter orders :) Anyways, its a good experience.

The food was delicious 😋. They have lot’s of Thali to choose as well as nice Vegetarian à la carte options. We have ordered Chaat thali, Sp. Kesar Thali, Paneer Sizzler, Hakka Noodles and Veg. biryani. Great staff with excellent service. We went on Friday night and was not crowded. Will visit soon to have Maharaja Thali. Visit 2: Paneer Bhurji and other order were delicious but the Roomali roti was very chewy, Can’t even finished!

All employees are required to wear mask all the time when they are with customers. Sanitize hands often, clean and spray tables after every sitting.
Dine in is allowed. But call ahead and go because they have a 25% occupancy or something like that due to COVID
I am not sure!

Sorry for confusion. We have few items that are Jain food and in Menu it says next to item(Regular/Jain). For Example - Chole Bhature (Regular/Jain} , Pav Bhaji (Regular/Jain). Our South Indian is Jain. Also there are more options that can be made Jain as per customer - Chaat, Paratha. We will keep your suggestion in mind and will make add a note in our next menu printing. Thanks
