Mr. Mel helped me and got me taken care of, cheaper and more friendly than that big box guitar store down the road. I wanted this beautiful Soloist, but was afraid that it would take a few days to get it setup and take home. I was surprised and able to take it home the same day, plays amazing..... think I also found my Semi-hollow body I've been looking for. IYKYK!!

Amazing collection, awesome staff, lots of unique pieces and still your more basic things too. I went for a guitar, and almost walked out with 2. Everything is priced right, comparing to other shops and online. Definitely recommend checking out.

C&M is a great spot for new musical gear in the New Orleans area. Huge selection of guitars, friendly owners, and no hard sell. My first time in the shop, Mel made me feel like an old friend and let me take my time and play every instrument I wanted to. It's clear these guys just want to help folks find the right instrument. If you want to talk to staff who are actually knowledgeable about what they sell, and get great customer service, forget Guitar Center and support this local shop. You won't regret it.
