Well I took a shoe there with a slight endentation in the toe of the shoe he charged me 25 bucks with a pair of plastic trees I did not wear them for 2 weeks oh yeah he rub some cream on the toe bottom line is I have same endentation I try to email him never got back to I chark it up That's my experience with him

They did a great job. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Repaired my Italian made shoes to like new condition. He didnt try to up sell me on a more expensive repair, although he did give me the option, he said that since wearing shoes wasnt a daily thing for me it was an unnecessary expense. Thats a good businessman - building trust in customers. Its nice to have a real cobbler nearby, not just a "shoe repair".

I live in Texas. I bought a pair of Prada boots; I spent more on them than I have ever spent on any garment or accessory in my entire life, including my wedding dress. When I received them, I discovered to my great dismay that the left boot refused to go all of the way up my left leg. Apparently, my left calf, perhaps from driving standard vehicles and using the clutch regularly, is about a quarter to a half an inch larger than the right calf. I have never had this problem with boots. Usually, they are too large for my legs. Anyway, in vain, I searched for someone who could add something to the boots to make them larger on the inside, zipper-side of the boot. Everywhere in Texas refused to touch the boots, for fear of ruining them; as I mentioned, they are Prada and extremely well-made. Finally, I found a gentleman, Nelson, all the way in New Jersey at Cobbler Tailor Shoe Repair who was not only willing to take on the task, but very conscientious about doing it well. I sent the boots to him, and he sent me pictures of what he would do, during the process, and after the job was completed. His work was exemplary and fast! I could not be more pleased! He is an example of someone who truly cares about what he does; Nelson is an artisan, and I am singing his praises to the universe! Took my Wolverine 1000 mile boots in to be resoled and have new heels put on, and was impressed with the owner's (Nelson) knowledge and expertise. We talked a bit about what type of work he was going to do and the specifics that went into that - at that point I was confident my boots would come back like new! Fast forward a week and the boots were done a day early. The resole and the heel looked brand brand new and the stitching looked great! Take your expensive shoes and boots here and have confidence the work will be done well and for a fair price!
