It is sad that Safeway employs people who do not want to do the job they are hired for. Cashiers have always bagged groceries yet now Safeway (after pushing people to bring their own bags) and now charging for bags if you use the store bags, allows their cashiers to choose not to bag the groceries that go through their line. Using Covid as an excuse to decrease services is ridiculous, the state is open no one not even their cashiers are whearing masks yet they can pick and choose their job duties. You never see the new manager of this store, the old manager could be seen aout on the floor working and available to customers and employees alike, needless to say I am increasingly dissatisfied by this store.

Safeway continues to please with great variety in a clean store, but continues to disappoint with advertised prices in the app. They are rarely correct and customer has to wait in line until manager gets there to approve the correct price. Some wait 15 minutes but for more than $9.00 the wait is worth it.

Bathrooms are almost always dirty. Staff is not very friendly. Except the pharmacy people, they are helpful and quick when you need it. There might be a bit of a line to pick up medication.

Questions like that would need to be addressed at store level. Each Safeway has their own ordering criteria. Go to that particular Safeway and ask the store manager. They can tell you what's up with machinery in the store.

Depends on who the check is to... If it is written out to the store for groceries.. yes.. If it is like a pay check.. you are best to go to a bank..
