Can't believe that after being a customer here so long I haven't written a review yet. Onsen has been my go-to for years now when it comes to sushi. If you're new to town and trying to find a good sushi place, THIS is some of the best sushi on this part of Long Island, and you must absolutely try it. The food here isn't just thrown together; the chefs work like artists who take what they do serious. The service is great, the staff is always friendly, and it's always a pleasure to eat here.

Amazing food with big portions for sightly better prices compared to other locations. With that says, When taking into account value, it's the best! And as stated I genuinely feel they make the best sushi I've had. There are few places that compare, good is as tasty, they are as good, but the prices are noticeably higher in those locations. The employees are unbelievably friendly as well. Always talking to you, give out samples to taste when you go eat inside. They are just great. I can't go on enough about how amazing the place truly is. GIVE THEM A SHOT!

So I learned something about myself. I don't like raw food. I went with my friend who loves it and he said it was excellent. I love the fact that it was a new experience. The waitress was lovely. I tried some kind of Asian beer and a martini. I didn't like the martini. The seaweed salad was good. I also liked the fried sushi. All the sushi I choose in my main dish were cooked. The salad was all raw I couldn't finish it but my friend found pleasure in helping me. The atmosphere is cosy and family or couple oriented plus u can see the cooks making ur meal. Another thing I liked was the fact that the waitress and the cooks kept us updated on how long your meals will be.
