I came to this place all the way up from NJ to visit a friend and we shared some pastries and desserts plus coffee, the place has lots of personality, the staff is friendly and courteous. Their products tasted heavenly, not too sweet, just the right amount, they were fresh made and looked amazing. It was hard to choose out of so many options. They definitely have something for every person. I would love to come back. We should have one Buttercooky in NJ

For years my family ordered a strawberry short cake from here & the other location in Florist Park. The cake was always so fresh and delicious. We ordered one this week & had an issue …that was resolved with such care. The owner is very loyal to his customers. This bakery has great customer service.

This place is horrible! When they first opened up a couple of years ago they made the best cookies I have ever tasted. Recently, over the past year or so I went there 3 times. HORRIBLE! I bought cupcakes that were not edible at all, and the cookies were stale. Got danish that was "OK". I ordered a custom cake the other day and spent a small fortune on it. It was barely edible! The buttercream left our mouths feeling greasy, the cake was burnt, and the "vanilla pudding" I requested was actually custard. The cake part was so dense that it felt chewy! Also, "yellow cake" should not be white in color...so they messed that up too. Absolutely ruined the birthday party that the cake was purchased for. But hey...at least they spelled the birthday girls name right. 🙄. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Honestly it is insulting to me that they took my money and felt that this cake was worthy of the cost. I will never go there again.

I ordered a cake for my son’s birthday and when i cut the cake and severed everyone, they said the frosting tasted like butter and so when I tried it it was 100% butter no sweetener or anything pure butter. I called and emailed then and i have not got a response since. I do not recommend ordering cakes there EVER!! But they did amazing with the appearance.
