Beautiful and clean small residential beach set way back from main roads, making it nice and quiet. A RESIDENTIAL STICKER IS NOW REQUIRED OR YOU WILL GET A $50 FINE!!!! There's now a gate attendant/attendant who will make sure you have proper documentation to access beach. You can acquire it for I believe $20 or maybe it was $25 (can't remember) at town hall in downtown Meredith. Trust me it's worth it. There's ample parking, a bathhouse, picnic tables, benches, barbeqing room, small playground, roped off designated safe swimming area, and there are some shaded areas if you don't handle direct sun for long periods.

I have been going to this beach for many years. I was very disappointed about the whole experience. Very dirty, picnic tables were all broken. Very dangerous for children. Please take down the slide before someone gets hurt. This is the first year we had to pay for a pass. There was no one there to check for passes. A family was there with a large dog tied to tree. I am positive I will not be going back. Trash was over flowing cigarette butts every where. This use to be a very pretty place to swim. When was the last time someone raked or trimmed bushes? I know this has been a tough couple of years, but come on people have some respect.... Hopefully someone will see this and things will get better. Thank you.

Nice medium sized beach. Has grills for outdoor cooking. Water was very clean and good temperature. Definitely will go back and bring a bag of charcoal with me next time!

Great, clean beach for families. If you are looking for a "no frills" family day. The playground equipment is dated. The beach gradual and shallow. There are grills & picnic tables, with plenty of shade. Weekdays are more accessible with less crowds.

Yes, men's and women's
It is open to Town of Meredith residents.
They are open
I assume the Town of Meredith parks and rec but no lifeguards were there when we visited.
Yes for kyacks
No.
Yes, no lifeguards anymore.... Bring all your beach toys !!
No camping is permitted, in fact police do routine nighttime checks.
Not in water while lifeguards on duty but beach is ok, there is area off to side where your dog can swim
I was under the belief that the beach was deeded to the town for residents only. Historically that is how it was treated. Will someone research this and straighten this issue out. Why no lifeguards?
