didn't even step foot into the store yet and already giving 1 star. i'm not familiar with the area so i took a gps to this location. gps directed me to the back entrance for some reason, im sure i'm not the only one. there's no "do not enter sign" and i was just trying to find my way into the parking lot. two employees in the back gave me a very hard time about entering when it was an honest mistake. i was angry and upset and they continued to look down on me for no apparent reason, just bc they could. then one of them gave me the middle finger. never stepping foot into that store. humanity is lost.

Every time I go to the Rockland location the people aren't helpful, yet I see them have department meetings in the middle of heavy traffic areas in the store. If I get any help, most times they act like they dont really want to help you or you're a huge inconvenience. It's like... trust me I don't want to be here any more than you do, but at least you're getting paid. The people at Lowes always take me seriously, and find what I need, know what I'm talking about and deliver good service. Although they are right off the highway, there are better stores... Keep driving.

Let me explain my rating...while I quickly and easily found what I was looking for (power wash concentrate) there was only 2 self checkout registers open AND NO NORMAL REGISTERS and the line was a mile long since both of the self check out machines were giving the customers a hard time. While there were 2 attendants trying to fix them. 2 attendants for 2 open self check out machines...call me stupid but isn't the point of a self check out machine so that there doesn't have to be an employee at each one, otherwise why not just open regular check out lines to keep things going faster. Other than that, I saw 3 customer service reps having a great time doing absolutely nothing maybe they could have taken a few of the customers so I didn't spend a half hour buying a jug of cleaner.

I recently went to Home Depot in Rockland to order new carpeting for 3 bedrooms. I placed the deposit on my Home Depot credit card. I dealt primarily with Suchi in the blind & flooring dept. She was helpful & knowledgeable. It was explained to me that the installers would move furniture, but there would be an extra charge for each bed that was moved. I agreed to that. Meanwhile a woman came out to take measurements for the three rooms. The carpet was ordered & then soon thereafter, a man by the name of Mike called me from Installation Dept. to tell me that the carpet was in & they would call me when they had an opening to install. A few days later, Renee called me from installation dept. & said they could schedule for install on Friday, April 1st. I agreed. Renee went over a few things, & on Thursday, my Daughter & I started moving everything from closet floors & moving what we could from rooms. Renee called back to go over when they would call me regarding time window for Friday. Somewhere in conversation she mentioned that they did NOT move electric beds. I then said I had an adjustable bed & she stated that under no circumstances do they even touch an adjustable bed as it is a liability. I told her that i would have to cancel. I hung up, called the store & got no one that would answer phone. I drove down there & I met with Mike the manager of flooring & also spoke with Mikki & they assured me they would call the head of installations. I went back home & then received a call that Mike from installations said NO to moving the adjustable bed. Order Cancelled. I will add that I am a 70 year old woman & my daughter. We do not have a crew of men lined up to move beds, which is why I was paying an extra fee for that. It gets even better.....At 2:52 pm I received a phone call from some other manager from Home Depot by the name of Stacy stating that because my carpet was "Special Order" they could not refund my credit card. You don't even want to know my reaction to that!!!!! She said because she was leaving at 3pm, she would have to call back the following day. I insisted that my credit card get refunded immediately. She called me back & said it would be taken care of. So , basically, Home Depot was refusing to do the install AND was going to NOT refund me. So, today, Stacy called me once again, & told me that I would have to come to the store in person in order to get my credit card refunded. I know this is a very lengthy review, however, people should know to stay away from this store.
