I can't express how much I love the people here. They are so understanding and helpful. I don't know where I would be without them.

Went in and filled out list of what was needed, then they gather your food stuff for you. They give you a beeper to alert you when your order is ready. While you wait for your order they have food stuff outside you can go through as well. Then they help you load your vehicle up when your order is ready. It's all sanitary and everything.

Questions & Answers

I’d like to donate how can I do this thanks Cathy

Cathy Donnally | Jan 2, 2022
Leanne Salls | Jan 2, 2022

I'm not sure they have the staffing to monitor the internet. Item donations can be dropped off during week days while they are open. Monetary donations can probably be dealt with the same way if you go to the front desk, they will help you pretty quickly. You can always call them to get that information as well, they always answer!

Yes good morning i have been sleeping outside and in doorways for a little bit now how do i get to enter the adult shelter i dont have a picture id i hope that that is not a problme also do they provide clothing and showers

Do you offer shelter help

Susan Chase | Aug 31, 2018

Yes upper valley haven offers shelter help.

Do you still accept new toys at The Haven so families can give them for Christmas? If so, what are the dates for that

Sunapee Heritage | Dec 3, 2021

I *think* they refer people to other programs that do that like Toys for Tots instead of trying to do it themselves. I know for sure they are one of the referral places for the T for T.

Can someone please tell me about Rose and Rosetta Corner Stone and the History of them creating the Upper Valley Haven as a refuge for Asian immigrants and the grown of the non-profit organization as it relates to Delta Sigma Theta legacies?

Tiffani Graham | Aug 30, 2021
Laura Gillespie | Jan 2, 2022

I do not think the Upper Valley Haven is the organization you refer to. The Haven was created in 1980 by five local churches and opened as a homeless shelter and small food shelf. I am unaware of Rose/Rosetta Cornerstone. Sorry not to be more helpful! I wish to donate 14 jars of blackcurrant jam. It has been processed in a water bath. I am writing to ask if you are still able to donate home made jam. I have donated it in the past and could make a lot more as it was a great year for fruit.

Hi Susan, thank you for thinking of the Haven. We are happy to accept this donation if you have not already had a chance to stop by. For future reference, offers of homemade food can be asked about by calling 802-295-6500. Thanks again!

I have furniture clothing and mis items to donate. Is there some to pick it up in claremont?

lori courtemanche | Aug 31, 2019
B. H. | Aug 30, 2020

you would be better off contacting a thrift store, the Haven no longer accepts most clothing donations. If you have something specific like good boots or camping gear, call them up, they might want it.

What is your phone number, I don't see it posted anywhere.
