Always impressed with my experience at this place. Dan's wife is amazing and they make you feel good even after leaving. I've told everyone to go to Dan if they need glasses or an exam. I appreciate this business and will never go anywhere else 😊 great service by great people and that's hard to find these days.

I needed my glasses that same day and got it!!! I was blown away by the wonderful staff, how they accepted my insurance, reasonable prices, and the great selection. I had gone to Walmart eye center and had to wait over a week for my glasses from the lab, I wished I would have only gone to Dan's Optical in Shasta Lake.

Was really impressed with Dan's Optical. Friendly very attentive owner, who obviously takes pride in making sure the customer is taken care of. Even offered to repair glasses that I didn't purchase there (An older pair that was falling apart). I felt an almost old fashioned sense of pride in this optical shop and it was very refreshing. Cost wise it was very competitive especially since I needed the glasses done on the fly. I had new glasses in under 24 hours without any additional charge. Overall I highly recommend considering them for your optical needs.

Dan's Optical really did a Great Job!! Had a good custom place over in Eureka years ago, but since coming over to Shasta County I've tried 3 different places before finally finding a real Craftsman at Dan's Optical. I wasn't in a hurry and just wanted it done right, and Dan Did! Really custom Wrap-A-Round lenses with Progressive reading built in that others had said couldn't be done with my prescription in that small of a wrap-a-round lens. My new glasses are the best I've ever had and Dan's has a selection of other custom Sports glasses that I'm really interested in. I won't be wasting my time anymore with going to other places.
