I would NOT recommend using this boat ramp at all!! I recently scouted this as a potential new fishing spot and didn't like what I saw. I was there early morning, as the sun came up, the boat launch area is very rocky and difficult to navigate but it was also full of cars OBVIOUSLY not fishing or having ANYTHING to do with the water!! Looked to me like people doing drugs or drug deals, at least 6 cars in there......STAY AWAY!!!!

The dirt road in was rocky and had potholes. It is not suitable for passenger cars. The launch was fine.. Kayaking on the ponds was awesome.

If you have a boat this can be a fun place to fish during the warm weather months as the pond is loaded with bass, pickerel and sunfish. If you don't have a boat access to the pond is restricted to the boat launch. The launch has recently been rehabbed making it easier to access. Fun place to ice fish as well. Bring a shelter as the wind doesn't have much to dampen it. You will get cold.

I love bringing my kayak here - lots of beautiful birds and calm water.

The short answer is yes. The long answer is not from the public boat launch, or not if you mind sharing with bass, lilly pads and frogs. Park off exit 3 at the bike path and walk to St Paul's crew dock.
The boat launch is very rough. If your using a trailer with a boat i suggest yoy check it out first.i have been going there for iver 20 years, and have out there in a 20 bass boat. Water levels will decude what yiu can out in with. This time.of year very heavy weeds and milfoil. Goid luck!! There are great fish out there!
