Brie, Thanks for dinner and the 2 wonderful cocktails (dirty vodka Martini and a make shift rum punch). I wish your cook knew the difference between med rare and med well, because med well is a terrible thing to do to a choice grade porterhouse, but rave music blasting in the kitchen will do that to a youngun'. C'est la vie, non? Please do come to the White House Inn in Wilmington, VT sometime when you need to take a drive and see some scenery. I'll hook you up. We went here for my dad's birthday yesterday. It was my first time and I really enjoyed our experience! I had the "lay up" sandwich(turkey, bacon, cheddar, and sliced apples on hearty toasted bread) with sweet potato fries, which came with a unique Maple Dipping sauce that was absolutely delicious. Both the sandwich and fries were nothing less than perfect!
