Got to the ER from Urgent Care at around 3pm and waited there for two hours before actually getting blood drawn and then got sent back into the waiting room for another two hours before getting an ultrasound done and then having more blood drawn. Progress was made, but after that I spent almost 4 hours afterwards waiting to be roomed just so a doctor could walk me through my results. After those 4 hours? Nothing. I opted instead to get my results through an echart and left. I get that times are rough in hospitals these days with COVID and whatnot, but this place just sucks. Definitely won't be coming here again if I can help it.

I went to Emergency Dept. with nerve pain in lower back/hip. Wait wasn't too long. Had to wait hours for a MRI which is understandable since it was a Tuesday afternoon, so they had people who had appts. for MRI. Staff in ED and MRI were very thorough and very friendly, especially Julia, Morgan, Jay and other staff. This was my first visit to Elliot and I would definitely recommend.

My 92 year old father was taken to the ER last night by ambulance (our first visit ever). Many thanks to all the caring staff who took care of him. The ER was very busy but everyone was so kind and caring. Thank you Dr. Brett Murray and Staff. My family is very grateful to all of you!

Got to the ER at 5 with someone who had severe abdominal pain. They brought us through rapidly and we were discharged 4 hours later after a successful appendectomy. Very impressed with the staff. Shout out to Jared the ER tech. Also the pizza in the cafeteria was excellent especially at $1 a slice, highly recommend.

Massachusetts hospital leaders said that they don’t want to have to fire anyone, but that if employees refuse an effective vaccine to protect themselves and others, they should not be working in an industry that is rooted in science and treats vulnerable people
have not heard anuthing about it yet
its a hospital that full service
Yes I have several friends that have gone for Alcohol withdrawal. They were treated very well. As far as the waiting that some mentioned up to 8 hours, I think 8 hours is worth getting the rest of your life back in exchange for.
3rd floor!
Yes all the time. But also short staff in ER for the amount of people it receives.
Go to any emergency room, not an urgent care, if the person is truly suicidal. They will get a medical evaluation and afterward, a mental health evaluation by an emergency services mental health counselor. The patient/ family and counselor will decide on the correct treatment plan. Hope this helps.
Yes they will help w alcohol withdrawal and help you get into a program.
You have to call the hospital. Asking strangers on Google will not help you unfortunately.
