I have heard good and bad about this place since moving up to the Berkshires. The idea of a funky local spot to have a meal and hear some local talent was so appealing so I kind of ignored the negative reviews. People...don't even think of coming here for the food or service....unless you're a friend of the owner. We were seated prior another group who as friends of the owner were warmly met, while we were ignored. After about 40 minutes our server finally brought the meal, which by then was cold, bland and unappetizing, but she also forgot about the drinks. I asked her twice for the drinks while the owner chatted up his friends at the next table...nada. So i approached him and asked him if he wouldn't mind seeing to it. First no problem, he apologized and said he would take care of it. After the drinks again failed to materialize I told him to forget about it, and he became totally belligerent as if we somehow messed up his ability to conjure up a diet coke. Imagine that, a paying customer interrupting his oh so important chat time. So have a great relaxing meal elsewhere, come for the music, buy a beer and skip the dining.

Always a fun place to go. It has fun hip vibe, very casual, great food drinks and music. I love that you can walk around outside, enjoy the fire.

Laid back atmosphere, make sure to make a reservation as it can get busy. I was told the burger was one of the best my boyfriend had. I also enjoyed the curry shrimp and crab salad. There's also live music in the living room and a fire pit outside which we will be coming back to experience.
