Big man
We brought in our 1 year old cat after he was poisoned from topical flea medicine. Came in on a Saturday night, was refused to be seen, came in again the next morning needing him to be seen still. Other people's pets that were in much better shape were being prioritized over our cat who seemed to be dying. He didn't make it to Monday morning. Thanks for nothing. Your business is a scam and a waste of time. Oh, and don't even bother your sorry *** attempts at making it up to us in your lame replies! All you're doing is ticking everyone off! You are sad, cruel people.

This a business only about making money. Why is there no Emergency Clinic? The biggest veterinarian office and the coldest. Animals only get sick between 9 and 5pm right. Almost 200.00 to just walk in the door. Only animals that have the owners with $$$$$ get care. The people that work there are very rude. You take advantage of people in terrible situations. Charge for time spent in your castle, when you determine how much time they have to sit there. Awful place.

After reading some negative Google reviews, I was pretty worried about how our experience would go. After bringing in my dog Natureboy (they called him Major Boy, but no biggie) to be seen today, I can definitely say that I am grateful for Dr. Hicks and the staff here at VCA Valley Oak for making us feel welcome and for making the experience as painless as possible. When your pet is suffering, the last thing you need is a hassle. We were treated well, and in and out quickly. We'll definitely return here for any veteranary needs. Thank you guys ❤️

My spouse and I are extremely thankful for valley oaks after they saved our fur baby. We called several vets, who did not prioritize by emergency, and advised to book us 10 days out—even after advising of the serious issue at hand. Dr. Smith assisted us along the way with several different options we could take. She answered our questions throughly and made sure our 🐕 was in the best care. Overall, things turned out well and we were so happy to bring our baby home. PS our dog swallowed this toy and they were able to do a painless procedure to assist him.

Yes when you go get his exam done tell them that your dog been shaking his head and his ears if its possible they could check his ears. Also get on care club.
Yes! They do.
Hi there I'm a vet tech of 25 years never ever ever give your dog Tylenol or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory or a leaves or any of your pain pills. A normal temperature with a dog is 100.5 to 102.5 hundred 3.5 is acceptable through in a vet situation. You should probably take your dog to the vet if you think it's got a fever or something else maybe going on. And just so you know any of the things that I listed if you give to your dog you will kill your dog! Aspirin is okay but you have to know your dog's weight and you need to know the formulary so you don't their thin blood out too much
Go to Gridley, they are reasonably priced and the best bet in the area in my opinion. I just felt with the chico VCA had an emergency room visit at 10 p.m. at night they didn't even see him until 4:00 p.m. the next day hold some foxtails out of his throat and walked out with an 1100 bill
VCA IS AN ANIMAL E R HOSPITAL. IF YOU GET IN REGULAR HOURS NOT TO BAD.$$ GREAT VETS . EMERGENCY VISITS $ 225 TO GET IN DOOR
Please take her in. It could be minor, but it could major. Our dog was having trouble breathing 2 weeks ago and it turned out his heart was failing. If we had waited he might not be here today.
I'm a vet tech and even though those are only a few symptoms it could be A lot of different things. I would highly recommend an exam. At a veterinarian as soon as possible.😿🙏💖
NSAIDs that are safe for dogs are prescription only.
At an emergency rate. Expect about $190 for the visit. That is what we were told. Payment is required at the time of service. You can apply for Care Credit.
Vaccinated for Parvo? Call them, they are amazing. They saved our dog' s life!
Yes, there is an avian/exotics doctor that can do that. He's on vacation until Sunday though.
Petco one Sunday a month all vaccinations are at cost and no vet fees. VCA is Great too, just not free btw.
