This park has been near and dear to my family and I for years. My fiance and I got engaged at this park. We also had our beautiful engagement photos taken here. Honestly one of the most beautiful places for foliage in the fall. Great place to swim in the summer. Park is always clean of garbage. Just careful of the geese!

Beautiful! This park has a little but of everything pavilions, BBQ pits, swimming area, bathrooms, docks and even multiple boat launches. They also rent canoes, row boats, kayak and paddle boat rentals. There is lots of good fishing and a dirt road access point on kible road pass the schools also another on upprerlise road.

Well maintained. User friendly, except for the gulls. But I never liked sea gulls to begin with. The bio break rooms are nice. Ample pavillion space. Picnic tables and BBQ pits sprinkled liberally throughout. Being the children, maybe their grandparents, some fishing poles. Enjoy the day at Dorchester Park. I promise to bring my trunks the next time I'm there. 😐🤨🤔🤫😂

They opened it today
We were just there on 5/30/2020 and they are open, masks required, 2 person capacity. Bottle of hand sanitizer was sitting outside between the restrooms
Dogs are allowed, there's a separate beach part for them just past the actual beach.

They have a shower for rinsing sand off... Not heated showers for bathing.....
