OCSA is a gem of a range. It's not top shelf by any stretch. Minimalistic, functional, safe. There are many friendly people who work the range, and lots of very friendly members also. My wife loves it. We have experienced zero intimidation there...nothing less than a friendly, welcoming environment. There are several ranges, including a standard rifle at 200 yards, pistol, archery and a few others. They do have an indoor pistol range, however it is being renovated and modernized as of this writing, so unfortunately it's not usable. I highly recommend checking out their website and joining them for one of their monthly safety courses and range tours.

If you want to be a member of a club that trips over its inbred, good old boy politics. This is the place for you. If you do join dont go on a weekend or be prepared to be treated like a se cond rate citizen to the various teams that have events. I've been a member for a long time due to convenience but would go somewhere else if it wasn't right up the street. All talk no action still no indoor range?

Not generally. Members, guests of members and those entering advertised competitions.

I’ve heard that your club has public IDPA classes and I’m very interested. If this is true, could you provide me with some info? Thanks

See the membership section of the club website at www.old-colon.org for answers.

Is this a range that non members might pay to shoot? Does it have trap/skeet?

Trap, Skeet, and 5 stand are open to the public on weekends. Most other facilities are open to members only, guests of a member, or a registered participant in a competition.
