Cheap $10 per night. Tiny like maybe 20 spots but very clean. Great care taker on site. Across from OHV area which is very popular area. Great walks along shasta dam outflow Sac river. Awesome bike paths! Has potable drinking water & great clean vault toilets βΊππππππ―

Interesting location under the Shasta Dam. The access it only by driving across the dam and itβs closed at 10pm. This place gets CRAZY on Friday and Saturday nights with all of the ATVs and toy haulers with their LOUD owners. Super quiet the rest of the time

Great place to stay for off roading! Right next to the Sac. River and Shasta Damn. Not a lot of trees In the camp sites. All sites are flat and well maintained. Bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen! And they have Lights in the bathroom!!!

Great place to ride. Appropriate for all skill levels. Bathroom and trash facilities. Multiple staging areas, some w/ camping & tons of parking.

I have a 40ft fifth wheel and there are multiple sites that my truck and trailer fit it. They also do have 2 group sites that can fit atleast 8 trailers/motorhomes per site.
You can Google it...i think there some maps there
Yes ,there r maps that show all the trails for sxs ,dirt bikes and jeeps.
You can ride out to Bohemotosh and camp there if you want. There are fire pits and picnic tables .
We just drove down there last weekend. Looks nice for off roaders. Yes camp host.Need a pop up For shade. Some have a little shade. It seems nice and clean. Have fun.
chappie-shasta has does have 2 roads route 1 and route 2 that are definitely wide enough for full size jeeps ,4Γ4 travel but primarily the park caters to off highway vehicles trails are geared for motorcycles ,quads and there are some that can handle side by sides
It was last weekend.
I dont believe the take reservations. Just make sure your there before 10pm as the dam closes at 10pm on the dot. Have registration papers on everything as youll be crossing a federally protected dam. They check inside everything. If yoyr reg stickers arent current you wont pass.
