Celebrated my grandson's first birthday in a rented pavilion. Even though it was in the 90's the shade of the pavilion made it very tolerable. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of natural shade as well. We had two large grills on site, large picnic tables, water, electricity and flush toilets nearby! Thanks Westville for helping us celebrate Roman's first birthday!

Nice walking trails and views of the water. We parked up by the dam and walked across the bridge and along the walking path if you keep going you will reach a picnic area with tables and pavilions.

Great place for a walk. On a hot day you can find some big rocks in the water and dangle your feet in the water to cool off :) Nice picnic areas and wide, mostly flat trails for walking.
Neat
I like to come here to hike. It is scenic, but it is a small park and there's only about 3 trails. One of the trails is about 1 mile round trip, the other one is about 2 miles round trip, and the longest is about 4 miles round trip. You can also walk the paved roads within the park, but the roads aren't that long either. Also, I like to go biking here, but it's too small of a park to bike. It's good for kids though. However, they do have a nice recreation area that has covered tents that you can rent or picnic areas that you don't have to rent, and they have picnic tables, grills and a nice large grass field area where you can play badminton or volleyball.

Yes
It cost nothing ..great place for anything really. They have a picnic area its free..
There is a trail volunteer force that might help. The info is posted at the parking lot. You can also post a note at the info board, also in the parking lot. If it's something someone will notice on the trail often times it will get picked up and placed on the entry gates
Parking is free...there are restrooms there, unfortunately I don't know if they are open or in order.
As Kathy said, no admission fee, ever. Parking lot out side the gate is always open, maybe 25 cars. From that parking lot you can walk east to the existing dam, over the bridge, around the lake back to the parking lot. Or walk west along the old road, about 1/2 mile to the remnants of an old dam. Or walk west along the upper trail that was to be the Grandtrunk Railroad. As 10/10/2020 there is a porta potty located at the boat ramp. Great place to have a picnic, get some exercise and fresh air.
Last time I was there they were all locked down... Sorry
