This place has a great space for venues. Could use some updates with the interior plants they need to be refreshed and cared for better. Other than that the decor and architecture is really nice if your looking for a historic setting.

The rooms were not clean and are quite old. They need to remodel the rooms. Our room had two beds and one of those beds was completely broken. The frame was off and the bed would tilt to the side. The broken bed also had stains on it. There were crumbs on the floor when we first entered. No fridge, no microwave. Not somewhere I would stay again.

We just had our wedding here and it was perfect, the staff from my sales coordinator (Diana) absolutely a pleasure to work with, to the banquet team (Jon and Paige) the day of. Everyone went above a beyond for us, the food was good, and they absolutely maintain the ground so beautifully. They are affordable and work with you to cut down costs. I had a post breakfast the next day and my family loved getting together one last time before saying goodbye! They made sure I had drinks on deck and gluten free options for me and addresses all dietary concerns for my guests! My only critique was the motor lodge rooms were pretty dated, and our bridal suite had some issues with the fridge being cold and the water going on and off randomly in the shower. The staff quickly addressed this for us and sent someone right away! It was so beautiful thank you Publick House!

I am gluten-free and had such a lovely meal. The steak was delicious and cooked a perfect medium rare! They also have a chocolate lava cake for dessert and their are GF cupcakes in the bake shop too! Highly recommend!

Not sure, I didn't see anything unusual
Whatever is appropriate to the people you'll be eating with. I never feel judged by the staff or strangers eating there. People dress in a wide variety of styles to eat there, they usually match the group they are with.
I was there in October but saw no sign thus please call and ask them.
No buffet, but excellent dinner. Make a reservation..very popular. Love their cranberry chutney.
You should call the number, I don't think they check the site for reservations.
MA law stipulates that gift cards must be valid for a least 7 years after date of issuance.
They have pet friendly rooms, but not in the main building or the new building--they are the motor lodge style rooms up in the hill. Still very comfortable and pleasant--my pups enjoy staying there. =)
Depends on the rules of the hotel. This is really a place for folks who enjoy and appreciate rustic and history. My husband and I have went every January for 3 years now we love it. No kids except the servers
