Every time I bring my vehicle into Colonial Ford, I desperately want to have a good experience. There is something wrong with upper management at the place though. The service writers are overworked and there does not seem to be good practices in place from the people at the top. I dropped my two year old vehicle off on a Friday (I had an appointment) because the AC had stopped working. Come Wednesday, I had not heard any updates. I tried to text the service writer through an automated text device that they had sent to me at drop off, never heard back. So I called and had to leave a message. I didn’t hear back yet again, so I called back and was told that the text system doesn’t actually work. Ok. I finally got hold of the service writer who told me that there was a leak in the system and that they were trying to find it. Later that day I was told that I could come pick up the vehicle. They recharged the system but did not find the leak. To me, it crazy that they would just send the vehicle back unfixed. It always something like that there. I don’t think it’s an issue with the technicians or the service writers. I think it’s an issue with ownership and top level management. I’m going to start going to another dealer even though this place is right near my house.
