The mine is temporarily being worked on and decorated. Once it's finished I would like to visit the mine again and explore.

Free parking available at Snyder Estates. Donation suggestions are listed on sign, hand sanitizer supplied as well as Porta potties at several areas around the beautiful property. A short walk to the mine with signs pointing you directly to the openings. Bring bright flash lights. Deeper in the mine is darker and there is water the rest of the darker part of the cave. There is a platform before the water you can stand on.

Great little place to walk around. There's a mine, a walking trail, cemetery, and museum! Grounds are well maintained and plenty of parking! As this place is maintained by volunteers, donations are suggested. If you are in the area, definitely check this place out!

Pretty cool place with amazing imagery. The mine itself is quite small but it still worth stopping by if you are in the are. It’s a nice easy hike and can be quite enjoyable.

If you call us before you come, you can make an appointment to get an escort to the handicap parking area where you can unload your wheel chair. You can then wheel to the mouth of the mine where you can see inside.

This was a cement mine. You can see the mine and walk the grounds and learn about the history of Rosendale Cement and the surrounding area rich with history.

No need to go in the water except for a puddle or such. You can get into many areas when there is no flooding
