I am happy with the car i got - my BIG issue is with the trade-in. I got my car appraised and accepted the offer. However I did not have my title available. I had to send away to get my title. The sales people helping me knew it would take a minimum of 21 days to get the title. They never said anything about my appraisal expiring. They said I just had to call and let someone know. Since I had home delivery of my car, I was told CarMax would still come and get my old car. (as the engine seized and it doesn't run) Now the title came in and I call CarMax and everything changes. I am told the appraisal expired and I have to resubmit, even though the car hasn't moved an inch - all the info is the same. Also, CarMax will not pick up the car now, I'd have to have it towed it. I was told this is CarMax policy,. They couldn't even be bothered to try and see what I was told originally or reach out to the persons that worked with me. Just quoted policy. Apparently, once they have your money, they stop caring. After insisting, the rep said she would leave a voice mail for the location to check and reach back out.

Outstanding staff. Met by a sales person and immediately helped me to have my car appraised. I received an offer $4000.00 higher than several others. The entire process took 2 hours and we walked out with a Check. That included the time it took my wife to pick me up.. Great group of folks on the South Charlotte team

Finding the car that I liked was pretty easy and the variety was pretty good as well when it came to features and colors. The process to purchase was fairly smooth as well did most online. The day I purchased there were some issues with the vehicle, it's a used vehicle so wasn't too alarmed, but needed and wanted it to get fixed before I decided to finally keep it. Agreed to have the issues taken care of and they gave me a loaner to use in the meantime. Here is where I am displeased. I purchased the car on Jan. 5, dropped off vehicle to be serviced on Jan 7, it is now Jan 20 and I have yet to get it back. Joe the Service Tech that I have been communicating with has done what he can to keep me informed and that I appreciate, but not having the vehicle I purchased for more than 2 weeks is frustrating. Today I get a call informing me that, the property taxes on the vehicle has to be paid and that there is a time limit for me to do so or I will have to self register the vehicle myself. I explained why it has not been paid and will not be paid until I get the car back and agree to keep it. I try not to be so critical because I am in the business myself and I was not going to leave a review until have have been asked and emailed about my experience. Time will tell if I will decide to keep the vehicle!!??

The most pleasant, confident car purchase I have ever made! The process was so easy. I took advantage of the 24 hour test drive. I purchased a 2017 BMW 430 with less than 8000 miles. This car is flawless! It looks, smells, and drives brand new. I still can’t believe the condition of this vehicle! The MaxCare warranty program can’t be beat. Everyone I worked with made the experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend CarMax for your car purchase.

If you are talking about buy here pay here then the answer is basically yes. But instead of one financier carmax has about 5. They have thier own warranty.
No, they have several finance options.
They require masks inside and the employees wear masks in and outside.
Have sold them two. Both times was surprised that we got more than I expected.
