The clerk could not help me when I went in in the late afternoon ... seemed like a young new associate with no experience/ knowledge... was a bit disappointed... had to go to another nursery/garden shop.

I stopped by Russell Farms (a small family owned business) to buy an outdoor plant for my wife. Plants for sale are well laid out, cared for, and reasonably priced. I found what I needed. Employee at the register was courteous and took the time to explain how we should care for the plant. The business also sells fresh fruit and vegetables, seasoned chopped wood, bark mulch, etc. I will return to Russell Farms.

So disappointed today. Went to Russell Farm for always loved corn. None outside but about 2 dozen inside. I asked sales associate where it was from and she said Concord. Sign requests you not open or shuck corn. I obeyed and bought 4 ears of corn. I threw out 2 because they were rotten and the 2 I cooked were not their usual great corn. I understand the rain has been a problem but allow customers to see what they are buying.
