Gorgeous park. A beautiful playground, six pavilions with picnic tables, assorted other picnic tables and spots throughout the park. A creek as well as a dog park. The park is beautifully maintained. Please remember it is carry in, carry out. ☺️

Went to car show and loved it. Easy park fair prices on tickets for raffles. In general everyone I meet was very friendly.

Came by to use the picnic tables for lunch since we were on road. Unexpected but very pleasant surprise of a peaceful, big park. I used the bathroom, it was nice and clean as well!

We've been coming here after Labor Day for a few weeks every year for many years. It's a great park, & it used to be easy to find a spot then but now it's almost impossible, even on a weekday! The park doesn't have a reservation system, it's owned by the Town of Owego. Spots are available on a 'first come' basis. However, now RVers from the south & locals are coming in the spring and staying all summer, even into the fall, as the park allows 'seasonal' camping. We were able to get one of two spots left! I walked around the camping area very early this morn (5 AM, Tuesday 9/14/21) and a third of the RVs were unoccupied. I suppose at $25 a nite it's a cheap way to store your RV for the summer. The town would do other campers a favor by limiting half the sites to a max of 2 weeks.

We left Hickories Park November 6, 2020, the first Friday of the month and the day it closed for the season. A beautiful place and one we’ll be going back to in 2021.
