The employees at this location will never fail to ruin your day. I get it working in a dmv is not anyone’s dream job but it is not our fault for your less than satisfactory job situation. If upper management of dmv is reading these reviews, teach the employees and managers at this location some basics on customer service and not make a dmv trip to this horrible place a dreaded experience as mentioned in multiple reviews below.

SERIOUSLY do not come here! I have been to 6 different DMVs in my entire life and this is by far the worst one I have ever been in. The line’s aren’t long but that’s obvious once you realize they don’t accept walk-ins anymore (which I understand) but their communication skills is terrible towards the people. Pretty much the worst experience possible. This is the kind of place that is full of the types of people who "could" help you if they wanted to, but instead they seem to derive perverse pleasure in sticking it to people...and if you are white I would highly suggest you just go somewhere else, they will abuse you, waste your time, make up their own rules, etc. seriously don't bother.

Ok it’s not as bad as some are saying — I got here at 10AM on a Wednesday, got the TICKET at 10:30 and left my number, went home for 3 hours and got the text and came back at around 2PM, waited inside for another 40 min and left with my plate. It’s not perfect but they are doing what they can to get things done. If you have everything ready you WILL get out in one piece. (As of right now they are NOT doing DL - must go to Bayonne.)
