Many Broadway Automotive reviews are 5 stars because their tow truck service is good. But many repair reviews are one star because the repairs were simply not done. Do not trust them to make repairs if you can't see the work. I can't help but like the owner. He appears to be a good guy, and very friendly. But they have a long history of cheating that goes back before he bought the garage. I live one block away. I brought my car there for the convenience of being so close. But they cheat. I had the car checked out before a long trip in 2016. They said they replaced the cabin air filter. But I felt the air was then coming through faster than it should. I looked in the compartment and there wasn't any air filter at all! Later I complained at the desk. Marco and Gus looked at one another and blamed Thelon, who wasn't in the office. In 2017 There was trouble with the blower for the passenger fan. I took it in for diagnosis and went home. They called me a little while later and said "We determined that your motor is shot." But I couldn't have it repaired right then. The next day I went over a bump and the fan started again. It has worked fine for 4 more years! So either they made a mistake or they lied. What do YOU think? Clearly it's just an electrical misconnection. Another repair was needed in 2019. I put the phone on speaker so my wife and I could both hear Gus give us an estimate of around $350. We both heard him say that. But when I got there the bill had gone to $650, almost exactly double the original estimate. Gus swore up-and-down that he had never said $350. But we both heard him. Due to Covid we drove very little last year. I brought the car in in January for state inspection. I asked for an oil change and to have an oil smell repaired. The final bill said they changed the oil and charged me $57 for it. But the little oil-change sticker they put in the windshield was not changed. I had driven the car around 4000 miles less than expected. I don't think they changed the oil at all. As for the oil smell diagnostic and replacement of a gasket, for which I was charged over $400, it's worse than ever! Now I have to go in and confront those guys, and demand a refund. And never go there again.

This winter, my wife was broken down in a very hazardous location. Broadway Automotive responded quickly and the serviceman arrived very fast to the rescue! He was concerned about her safety first, made quick work of the tow and minimized our costs by his efficient delivery of our vehicle to a garage. Two days ago, their service responded to my dead battery call. They provided prompt, honest service, evaluated my problem and replaced my battery within forty minutes of my first call to them. They were knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I recommend NYC Towing very highly. They are the best!!

I recently used Broadway Automotive towing service. Much to my surprise the truck arrived within 10 minutes of me calling; the driver said he had just finished a call in the area. He changed my tire and put all my tire tools back in the vehicle and secured them doing a really nice job. I called this NYC towing and also commended the driver. Thank you so much, it would have taken me hours to change my tire and figure out where everything was at. Would use Broadway Automotive again in the future and recommend to others.

First, wiggle and tighten the terminals on your battery. It may just need a quick tightening. If you still think it is is dead then they'll be happy to get you sorted out.
