The location is great. Very convenient to and from the NY side. The bus stop and light rail station are just a few steps away. Jeremy at the front desk was really helpful when our flights got canceled/delayed and arrived at the hotel at about 2 am for the first night. He expressly checked us in. But the last night's experience at the hotel was kind of disturbing when using the laundry services. Overall, it is Residence Inn standard but not as smooth and pleasant as expected.

First of all, it wasn't my first time to stay here. I have stayed here couple months and location and staff is amazing but they have big management issues. I think they are under new management and that's why. First, you can't be relax at your room even if everything is fine because of their fire alarm system! I've experienced their false alarm system 6 times in 2 weeks! Unbelievable, you can't imagine how annoying it is. When you talk with manager, he said one of them is real but I spoke with one of firefighter and he just smiled :) Second issue, they say they have washers and dryers which is big lie, actually technically they have but only 1 of them is working. So I don't know how many people stay here but you can say at least 300 so 1 machine for all these people, is shame. They are under Marriott name so they have to improve a lot of things to deserve this name. I was gonna extend my stay one more month but all these issues changed my mind. I won't be back.

This hotel is so pretty. It’s right by the water.. the only thing is, they don’t have any rooms that are waterfront directly but you can definitely see the water from the side window. The suite is so spacious and updated. I love how it has a full kitchen and a huge refrigerator. The woman at the front desk was very polite. Parking is $22 in the garage that’s located right outside of the hotel. Make sure you let the front desk person know that you will be going in & out so you can retrieve a parking pass for a one time fee. It’s very close to NYC!! Complimentary breakfast… don’t expect a full meal. It was breakfast sandwiches, cereal, quick meals. Still good :) the only thing is I wish they had a pool but it was still a great stay. This will be my new go to hotel when I come into town. Thank you Residence Inn!!!

We loved our rooms. Having the kitchen island area to work instead of a desk was great and everything was really clean. The location is great with a good view of NYC. On our last day in New Jersey we went to explore NYC. We had asked the front desk if we needed to move our car or if the parking pass would still let us out. They informed us the pass didn’t expire until the end of the day. When we got back to our car and went to leave the card wouldn’t let us out and we had to pay $18 in addition to the $22 for parking we paid every day we were there. It was a good stay but only about half of the front desk staff were great.
