I would give this dealership zero stars if I could. My 2021 Tucson (purchased in September of 2020 so less than 2 years ago) had pieces of window molding peeling off the side of the car. It was covered under warranty but I was never told that they would have to replace my tinted glass as part of the repair. The service technician that I spoke to, Sam, called me after the work was done and said the repair was “more involved than they were anticipating” and the glass had to be replaced as well. When I told him that my glass was tinted and I needed to be compensated for that, I was told to call Hyundai Corporate because there was a “good chance this would qualify for reimbursement”. I called Hyundai Corporate who told me that only the dealership could handle reimbursing me for something like that and that the dealership was completely incorrect for telling me to call Hyundai Corporate as they are well aware of the fact that that is something that could only be handled at the dealership level. When I called the dealership and asked for Sam, I told him what Hyundai Corporate told me and he said the service manager would give me a call. Surprise surprise-2 weeks went by and I heard nothing. When I called back to follow-up, the service manager Daniel told me that Sam was supposed to call me back and tell me that they spoke to Hyundai Corporate who told them there wasn’t anything that could be done at the corporate or dealer level. All of this over $80+ tax to re-tint 2 windows because Hyundai’s cars are defective and have pieces of the car literally peeling off after less than 2 years. Absolutely ridiculous. Hyundai can try to make their cars look nice with their attempt at being able to compete with all of the other auto brands but it’s the same old trash that earned them the awful reputation they’ve had for years. Save yourself some time and a whole lot of frustration. Don’t bother with Southern States Automotive and if you want an extra layer of protection, don’t bother with a Hyundai period.

We were very satisfied with the service provided by Southern State Automotive during the purchase of our new truck. The dealership didn’t take advantage of the low inventory like some others do by adding market adjustments on top of the MSRP. The sales and administrative staff provided exceptional customer support. We were constantly updated during the entire process. We highly recommend Terry who was our sales representative was very efficient , helpful, friendly, and his customer service was exceptional. We definitely recommend Terry and Southern States !

I can't stand high pressure sales. They were definitely not. Brian was awesome. We new what we wanted to drive before we showed up. They were very accommodating. We came on Memorial Day and our bank was closed and we didn't have checks on us but they let us drive the car home and bring it back the next day with a check and they detailed our car and then delivered it to our house. They worked with us until we had exactly what we wanted as far as payments and warranty. Great experience!! I would definitely recommend them.

Kay is an amazing sales person. She listened to what I wanted and tried he best to get it. We got lucky and were able to get my exact match. Also the dealership didn't play any games like other ones do and add market costs on top of what MSRP is. Very grateful for the experience I had and love my car. Thanks Kay.

You can probably go to Maryland and purchase one same as the Ioniq plug-in hybrid, not sure why they refuse to sell them in NC.
I didn't know that I had a recall. I was told that the recall was fixed. Never received a letter stating a recall.
You're surprised? I can't even contact them via phone today. Numbers are changed according to the message I'm getting....lol
The warranty for the second owner is a 5 year 60k mile powertrain warranty
I have no idea. That is something to ask a sales representative.
recommend replacing your engine oil and filter every 3,000 miles or 3 months – whichever comes first.
Not easy. They seemed to ignore the phones when I was there and dealt with the customers in front of them
They would not be my choice. Not their brand and not their specialty.
