Lovely ski resort with beginner friendly slopes and good number of lifts! Skied here a couple of times this season and would definitely come back. The drive takes only 1.5 hours from Boston. Don't miss out the Saturday night pop rentals (if you're okay skiing crud) - They're one of the most inexpensive ski package in the Northeast which include rentals too.

Love this place! Great ski area to learn as a beginner. Feels very homey. Would recommend.

I skied PP yesterday for the first time in over 30 years. What a change. Everything is new, lodge, lifts, and a ton of new trails. I was extremely impressed particularly after seeing another local hill (King Pine) decline to a point where it is a tired & shabby in comparison. My daughters school's ski club used Pats and I was so happy to see all of the kid friendly / beginner ski options (2 or 3 areas with magic carpets and long slow slopes). I found the trails to be of a good mix of ski level, although I question the rating of many blacks that are blues at many other places and double blacks that are maybe a black at best. I enjoyed the new bowl section as a change of scenery. The main building is clean and modern, the restaurant reasonably priced & comfortable, beer is available in a nice 22oz glass (first I've seen at a ski resort) and the main lodge roomy and comfortable. The outdoor accommodations were equally as impressive, with tons of space for guests, with covered picnic tables with heat lamps and 2 large decks with tables at the ground level and outside of the bar/restaurant. I took advantage of the ski shop to get my skis waxed & sharpened for a reasonable $20 done in 10 mins. I hope other resorts/mountains take a visit as I have seen such a wide spectrum of improvements of the half dozen resorts I have skied this season. Well done Pat!

Yes, they offer great ski lessons. No reservations needed for week days. Reservation is required for holidays and weekends (Fri, SAT, Sun). But it's always good to call ahead.
Yes! and they have lots of outside cubbies. Have a blast! Also, do the Basin first as they close the trail around 3pm! The main portion of the mountain is open all day and night. Enjoy!!

They are allowed outside in the base area on a leash.
From their website: Pats Peak Ski Area, located in the only Henniker on Earth, opened for skiing on January 5, 1963. The Patenaude brothers combined Yankee ingenuity with the several businesses owned in the family to hand fashion a ski area. Back in 1962, the four Patenaude brothers spent a lot of time skiing. They also spent a lot of time standing in lift lines. So they decided to go home to Henniker and build their own ski mountain. Construction of the main lodge began in the spring of 1962 by the four Patenaude brothers, friends, and family. The Peak Chair 1961 Model was built on our slopes in Fall of 1962 for opening in 1963. Pats Peak remains today what it was decades ago: a family-owned ski area where friends and families return every season. It's where you can feel safe letting your kids roam the mountain, then letting yourself go on challenging terrain
We offer a snow report on our website.

No sorry, we do not.
Nope, there are a couple snowshoeing trails, but they are not groomed.
