Lovely campground. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was the same. It was a holiday weekend, so there was a lot going on, but everyone was still respectful of others and quiet hours. We were just passing through overnight, but were sorry we weren't staying longer.

Clean, serene, tons of fun weekend events, heated pool, great owners, excellent service, good selection of items in the store, I can go on. Our first stay was so amazing that we had to book our next before we left. What a wonderful job the team has done to this place. PS: The campsites right by the canal can get a bit windy. Just be mindful of that. Still may worth it to sit by a campfire just yards from the water.

Usually we go to a state park close by to camp, but we just moved back to the state after 4 years away and weren’t aware that the state parks no longer accept walk-ins. We found ourselves trying to find a last minute place to camp, and somehow we came across River’s Crossing. It looked beautiful and was right in the Montezuma Preserve, which is one of our favorite places in the area. We were able to book everything online, which was so awesome and convenient. We rented a paddle boat and took it out into the waterways in the preserve, all the nature and wildlife we saw while on the water felt like a gift from the universe. We feel very lucky to have found a place to camp on such short notice but even more lucky to have found such a lovely and welcoming campground. Everyone there was so kind and the overall energy there was really wonderful. We are so excited to visit again in the future! If this already wasn’t enough to express how amazing this place is. An unexpected storm formed in the middle of the night but the owners are so awesome that they checked in on us several times to make sure we were okay and to tell us what to do if the storm gets too bad. In the end they came by and offered to let us stay in one of their cabins so we didn’t have to stay outside in such a scary storm. It was so nice of them and the cabin was so cozy! Thank you Eric and Sandy! You two are the best!

Great place to go, owners are awesome! The property is very safe and clean with improvements being done daily. Best campground we have been with the activity’s for children and adults it really shows how much care is put into their business. The events are a much added treat.
