I love this place. We got there last week for the sunflowers. They are getting ready for fall activities. This farm is family oriented and has lots of activities for everyone, with all kinds of grows and best amenity the sunflowers crops. This year I only took my parents and my friend Pao. We have lots of fun and will come back in the fall with other friends. Highly recommended 👌 Go Go Taxi of Sanford was here !

Such a beautiful day today! 🌞🌱 Had fun going blueberry picking with some of my friends! This place is great! Music, food, lots of fresh fruits and veggies, sunflower fields, food trucks, playground and rides for the kids...and it's just plain pretty out there!💕 I came home with blueberries, squash, zucchini, there were green beans, corn, sunflowers (wish I had gotten pics) peaches are coming in May! If you are local-check them out!

Southern Hill Farms is a great place to just enjoy yourself. It is family friendly and would also make a great date spot. They have plenty of food and desserts. Local food trucks come and sell food in addition to Southern Hill Farms selling food as well. The u-pick experience was a great time. For flowers, you pay to enter the fields and you get a flower as part of your entry fee. Any extra flowers are purchased at checkout from the field. The fields are picturesque and a great backdrop. Fruit pickings are done by the pound. You're given a box that to carry all your fruit in. There are bathrooms available for use that are very nice. Overall, we'll definitely be back again. We had a great time and spent about 3-4 hours there.

A lovely place for an outing. A social media worthy set up to come and take photos, spend time with friends. It’s a cute idea for a date. A perfect place for family and children. They have wagon rentals for 8 dollars, the strawberries are 4 dollars a pound. A very reasonable price for perfect, freshly picked strawberries. The frozen lemonade was delicious. They have a play for kids, plenty of places to sit and grab a bite to eat. They also have some rocking chairs, a carousel and kiddie rides. It’s well taken care of, the staff is informative and organized. We had a really good time. Hi

Hello! The hours that we are open to the public vary seasonally and are sometimes dependent upon crop availability during our u-pick seasons. For the most up-to-date information please visit our website or Facebook page.
you'll need to access Schofield from 429 instead of 27. I believe they're paving Schofield and they're starting from the 27 side..
You may want to call to get the most accurate information because if your trying to attend the pumpkin patch the last day is November 7th 2021
It's got bounce houses, u pick sunflowers, a bar, food trucks a pumpkin patch, merry go round, petting area, LIVE MUSIC, and so much more. $20 per person is a good deal. they have to staff the event! this isn't a question - it's a complaint and not a well informed one.
No tickets needed, you just paid for what you pick. This month is blueberry pick season.
They were great. I picked so many I had to make jam to use them all.
Hello! We host a petting zoo during our annual Fall Festival but not during our u-pick seasons.
They are open Tuesday through Sunday 9am-4pm closed on Monday until the end of May.
Hello!! It's in Clermont, and when you google their page it says it's temporarily closed!! I don't know if they work seasonally. sorry
No
Great outing for picking your own regular strawberries. But they have a lot of others stuff to do there also.
Always check on their facebook page they notify there.
Daily, always check their facebook page for updates
I don't know the road name. Road in with our kids, sorry.
Hi there Liza! We will be open select dates throughout December for our strawberry u-pick season, which usually begins mid December. Please let us know if you have any additional questions and we hope to see you at the farm soon!
Hi Meghan! We have individual cups of frozen apple cider available, as well as hard frozen apple cider. Please let us know if you have any additional questions!
Tractor wagon rides, inflatables, slides.
Yes. You have to buy a ticket on their website to get into the gates of the farm.
No they are not permanently closed they open back up in a few weeks to to the General Public
We went on Friday. I see the schedule as opening on Thursday. I'm surprised. I went a week ago on Friday. There are peaches and blueberries that are going to go bad unless they have staff to pick them. Maybe their season is over like another comment says, but I'd call them to make sure.
It varies, they open and close based on which fruit is in season. Check their website at SouthernHillsFarm.com
Great place!! Strawberries in season now, blueberries next I'm thinking they'll be done before June but peaches will hopefully be in season. They may sell frozen blueberries and strawberries at that time.
You do not have to pay to enter, it is free, the farm on its instagram puts the hours this 30 minutes before they open so you can pick the strawberries well, before the fields close.
Are you asking about the strawberry farm or the strawberry festival They are two separate things
No they don't! But they can take you on a tour with their own vehicle.
Yes. As well as for parking on private property. Well worth the visit.
Recently they did. I think they have them all year long
They don't, they recently posted that they ran out. 😞 They also said this won't be the case in the future, in coming years they'll make sure to grow more, and later in the season.
There is also a playground area that has swings, a big tube they can crawl thorough and a monkey bar type setup
I've only gone for the fall festival so I really dont know. but give'em a call, I'm pretty sure they can hell you
The blueberry picking should almost b done.. I would call or look on thier website. Very nice people and helpful!
This is from thier Facebook page. Our blueberry u-pick is now closed for the 2019 season. We will still have u-pick peaches, sunflowers and zinnias available through Wednesday, May 22nd. Everything at our spring u-pick will officially close for the season on Thursday, May 23rd. Stop by our Southern Hill Market and Southern Hill Bakery for one last chance to stock up on frozen blueberries and all of your other SHF favorites before our spring u-pick ends!
They are open through out May for blueberry picking,I am not sure about June.
$4 per pound of blueberries and you are encouraged to sample! They also have you pick flowers this spring and you pick peaches, cost is different than blueberries. Free parking! Remember it's a working farm so you and your vehicle could get dirty.
They opened just this past weekend until late may.
Its $10 a car load to park. Then the normal prices for food and drinks. Pumpkin patch free to take pictures, although you can buy some if you want. They take cash or card.
They have another festival this coming weekend. My suggestion is to go early or late afternoon for the sunset.
They will open in october for there fall festival on the weeekends.
What the others said. They usually have berries frozen from this season.
Casual/comfortable closed toe shoes and bring a change of clothes for kids.....maybe a towel and umbrella for rainy days.
