St. Joseph hospital SAVED MY LIFE. I mean this quite literally. They saved me when Southern New Hampshire Medical Center turned me away. Not only did they turn me away but after many attempts of convincing them something was seriously wrong with me, they considered me to be "Med seeking" and kicked me off the premises with no ability to walk at that time. And not only was the doctor extremely rude, so was the nurse and front desk staff of the emergency room. St. Joseph Hospital took me right in and saw the amount of pain and weakness I was experiencing. They quickly found that I had mersa throughout my body, covid-19 and needed a heart valve replacement and one heart valve that needed to be fixed. They admitted me right away and kept me alive while they spent months finding the proper hospital who would take me in for this open heart surgery I desperately needed. The doctors were great, nurses were amazing and they got me the treatment I needed. I had three strokes while in their care, but they got me through to Boston Medical Center who ultimately did my life saving surgery. This hospital literally saved my life. And my time there was pleasant because of all the doctor's, nurses, and staff. Thank you for saving me.

The male EMT with t shirt, bald, glasses near room 5 in ER didn't use gloves when administering injection to patient, as well as 2 male nurses- daytime shift. Went from patient to patient not wearing gloves, not sanitizing hands, masks under nose. Also, bells not being answered, staff behind desk not wearing masks. Imagine putting a needle into a vulnerable patient, and not wearing gloves, or flushing a patients IV line not wearing gloves? I'm honestly still in shock at what I witnessed. This all transpired near rooms 5 and 6 in the emergency room. This emergency room is one of worst I've ever witnessed in my life. I realize the hospital system is overwhelmed in Nashua, but a NURSE using needles without even using hand sanitizer pump before---- or gloves. This place should lose any funding or certification. I'm in the process of reporting to HHS. If you witness a supposed RN, "EMT" not using gloves or sanitizing before administrating shots, flushing IV'S please report to HHS. Please be careful in ER.

From start to finish the experience was awful. 4 days as an inpatient and barely any interaction with a Dr. Left against medical advice after the interaction with a belligerent and impatient Dr. Najar. ( actually recorded his outburst) 40 years my family treated here but this will be the last. Day after I left I had to be transported by ambulance to Southern NH ER. In 4 hours the Dr. detected the problem and referred me to specialist. My problem is now being appropriately treated. I’m truly disappointed at the downhill turn of what passes for health care at this institution which has been a part of my family for so long.

I am giving a review as an employee and what it’s like to work here. The experience starts with recruiting. The recruiter Alicia Melo is so sweet and is passionate about finding the right fit! I felt like I was in good hands right away with her. Then once I started working, everyone has welcomed me and I feel so supported. I have never seen an organization that has so many employees that have been here for 10+ and 20+ years, that says a lot about the organization itself.

Any insurance is accepted. How much your insurance will cover varies company to company and plan to plan. When scheduling an appointment, you can get an estimate over the phone. It's always a good idea to call your insurance company too- to be prepared you should get the CPT code for the test or procedure you're having (the insurance company uses this code to give you the estimate). St. Joe's offers a 20% discount too if you pay before or at the time of service.
I'm sure they do (like most hospitals), but usually for staff use. A call to the main operator can connect you, & then this can be determined.

Well you can certainly call the human resources department and ask what financial assistance services they offer on a procedure like that.
They are different in each area but usually 2 I think
Yes! They have an incredible gift shop with beautiful items of many styles.
