I needed some electrical work on various items for my new home in NH, including replacing outlets, rewiring the circuit box, and removing some electric heaters. Also wanted pricing on a standby generator. The electrician came out and did a very thorough job. I was impressed. He said they'd have an estimate to me right away. 8 days go by and nothing. I call into the number listed and a woman says she can leave a note for the estimator. I thank her. 7 more days go by. Nothing. I call the same number and reach the same woman who now says that she can leave another note for the estimator. I tell her that it's been 2 weeks of no responses from them and that I need to hear something by the end of this week. She then tells me that the estimator is on vacation. This is an example of how not to treat new customers, and I won't be using this company for any of my electrical needs now or in the future. RESPONSE: Thank you for your comment. All it would have taken is a phone call or email to me when I first called in telling me what was going on and why there was a delay, and I would have been perfectly happy. This issue seems to be endemic in the area...not sure why.

TC. Reilley Electric was excellent to work with. Thomas the owner came over right away to give me an estimate for my job. I had recessed lighting and two light fixtures installed. The day of installation the guys showed up on time, they were friendly and professional. They did a great job cleaning up too! The job was exactly what was quoted, no surprise charges! I will definitely use TC. Reilly Electric again and I highly recommend this company!

TC Reilly Electric provided a professional, timely estimate for services. They arrived on the dot on the scheduled day for the work and made sure all was reviewed and in good working order before they left. The owner Tom is very personable and easy to work with, and took the time to explain what was done and answer all questions. I will absolutely do business with them again.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE ELECTRICAL SERVICE SYSTEM I NEED FOR MY PROPERTY?

TC. Reilly Electric | Nov 3, 2021
TC. Reilly Electric | Nov 3, 2021

Figuring out the electrical loads of homes is essential. And to determine the size of the electrical panel involved an audit of your appliances and a little bit of math as well. Your circuits should only be loaded up to 80% of the total circuit capabilities. So, if you have a 15-amp circuit, the safe operating amperage would be no greater than 12 amps. Confused yet? If so, give TC Reilly Electric a call and we’ll be happy to assist you in your energy load audit.
