I was so looking forward to an Authentic Austrian meal today! Even got there early… at 4:45pm. When the two of us arrived, there were only two others in the restaurant. We stood there for several minutes, as there was no one to greet us. Finally, we just sat down. And, waited. And, waited some more. We could hear voices coming from what I assume was the kitchen. Finally, after 15 minutes, a lady came out, and said, “Sorry guys. Didn’t hear you come in”. She plunked down a couple of menus, as we ordered a couple of beers. Ten minutes later, they were delivered. Others started coming in at that point, which seemed to fluster our one and only server/bartender. Thirty minutes later, when she finally returned (after several more “sorry guys” as she ran by our table), we were no longer interested in ordering. If we had, we might still be there waiting. Worst service ever, even though the restaurant has high ratings.

Great place to eat. Love their food. Also, so sweet and accommodating and understanding of children. We brought in my 10 month old and they were wonderful with her even after she left a crumb mess. Don't forget a shot of circus peanut!

What an excellent experience. I have never had authentic German food at a restaurant before, but I am very glad I tried it here. We had the Hot Wurst platter and loved it. The smoked brat was the best tasting on the platter. The only thing that was kind of distracting was that our table was really sticky. Not sure what the deal was there, but my wife and I will definitely be coming back here!

First time there. Drove from sawyer mi. And really wish I went to Irish pub or other local spot. Maybe it was an off night. But I order pork sandwiche. Well hello chicken lol. Small mistake but fried chicken tomatoe n slice of lettuce. No sauses or seasons. Very blend. Fish dinner. 2 or 3 bites and plate was left with spuzle and some other side. Chicken salad very blend. Maybe dollar store find.. no dressing on it.. may try again but need be wow and very hungry to.. place was clean and service was so so.
