Just passing through this town trying to grab a bite to eat...It was 20mins before close. They refused to take my order..."Our system is updating and there is nothing we can do about it- come back in 20 minutes". This was the second fastfood place in a row that was closing early and not taking orders for simaler reasons. I told them I would be happy to pay cash with exact change so they wouldn't need to open the till and could enter in my order after the "system had updated". They refused saying they couldn't just leave cash laying around. However, I was well aware that if I came back in 20mins as requested they would be closed. Having just come from another fastfood business doing the same thing I was pretty upset. So...where do I start with this one....lying to customers...lazy employees that want to close early...arguing with customers.... refusing service... Its unfortunate how this kind of business behavior is become more common. When you havent eaten all day and 2 places turn you away... Its atrocious business ethics to say the least. If they are willing to lie to a customer's face it makes you wonder what else they are being dishonest about....What are they really serving people?!

Enjoyed their wonderful food, as usual. My companion had never eaten at Checkers before, and was bowled over by how good the food was, esp. the seasoned fries. There was a discrepancy over our order, but the manager handled the matter courteously to the point where I told her that I would definitely be referring all people to Checkers, as I usually do. Excellent manager!

Me and my husband came up here tonight and got the 2 for 7 deal for the both of us, both got the cheeseburger and the chicken sandwich. When we got home we only received one burger and 3 chicken sandwiches, also ordered 2 orders of garlic parm fries and received loaded fries. We have it another chance tonight since the last time we came up there they told us they were closed and it was an hour before they were suppose to be closed. Wish they would get it together because we love our bartow checkers

Driver thru worker was great. But prices on menu are all messed up. Example new fry batter tenders are on board with 2 prices about 2 dollar difference. Then came the shock. Ordered two combos and 2 for 6 deal. Ready for this 31 bucks. Also they gave me wrong burger for one combo. Personally I say thanks Joe Biden but will not be having checkers for another year after this visit.
