A furniture refinisher in the city of Boston told me they use Lord's Upholstery in Stoughton to reupholster the wood furniture they refinish. He highly recommended I contact them because they do beautiful work and they price their work very fairly. I called them and Lew in the office was extremely helpful in answering my many questions - Never rushed me and made sure all my questions were answered. Even though I live in Boston, I decided maybe it was worth the 30 min drive, at least for an estimate. I couldn't be happier that I did - Jeff and Nancy Lord, the owners, were incredibly friendly and helpful, and took lots of time with me discussing the various options for covering my chair. I had previously found fabric at a fabric store, and they had no problem at all with my using my own fabric rather than having me order from their many sample books. When Jeff gave me the estimate for the labor I was very pleasantly surprised, and did not feel a need to get a 2nd estimate elsewhere (which is very unlike me!). I left the chair with them, expecting it would be ready in 3-4 weeks....VERY FAST FORWARD, I got a call 2 days later that my chair was ready!! Most importantly, however, is that my beloved chair looked PHENOMENAL!! I liked it better than the day I bought it! The workmanship was impeccable and with the new cushion they put in it felt more comfortable than ever!! I VERY HIGHLY recommend you consider making a drive to Lord's Upholstery in Stoughton. This business is a true GEM, the family is lovely, and I loved supporting a family run business!

I had two salon chairs redone and the quality and attention to detail was fantastic! They were prompt on return time. It's great to see a business like this doing the type of workmanship in these days when everything seems average quality.... Highly recommend them.
