What a great place to adopt your feathered friend. They have a huge variety and number of parrots, macaws, cockatoos, conjures, and other birds, who need homes. The birds are well taken care of. Understand that the volunteers may not run up to greet you and try to "sell" you anything. These birds are homeless mostly because people turned them in. The all volunteer staff wants to be sure that you are responsible and committed, so be prepared to spend some time here. The birds for you will let you know that it likes you.

My hart goes out for these people. They rescue all kinds of parrots and adopt them out. You can stop in and see hundreds of birds. Please give one a home. Thank you Parrot Outreach Society.

They do a well needed service great. You can tell they really care for our feathered family. They have a great selection of bird toys and food. Go by and get what you need and make a donation while you're there!

I adopted a parrot a year ago, process is not bad at all, they have to weed out the people that really don't want or know how to care for parrots, a lot of people go there just to see them and have no clue what it takes to care for a parrot
It is open Fridays
Get a new mop head and hang in her cage. She'll start to pull on the threads. It works for my macaw. She looked like the kind of chicken you by in the grocery
They have almost every kind of pet bird. You really need to stop in and see them too find the best one for you.
Yes they take surrenders
Not sure please call them
I would make sure he has seen an avian vet. PO grooms on Saturday mornings until about noon or a little later.
Yes, I have seen Parakeets there. You may want to try getting in touch via their Facebook page. They seem to be very active on Facebook. :)
I have volunteered at Parrot Outreach. Take him there if you can not find a home for him yourself.
Parrot outreach is a very sad place. Most of the birds have been given up due to owners age or realized birds take lots of care. Most of them sit in the corner of their cage lonely & plucking out all their feathers. Parrots live to be 45 or more...think about that before getting one...go visit Parrot Outreach u will see the numerous abandoned lovely birds.
Depends on the bird. Suggest you contact them directly
Parrot hope rescue in Mantua and a parrot to a flamingo are the closest ones I've found. You probably need to do a google search for parrot rescue near Cleveland OH as parrot outreach society is a local rescue in South FL...
It is a great place to find your new friend! It is tough to only pick one. Everyone there is helpful and will answer any questions.
