I went in last week for my favorite ice cream strawberry cheesecake. I've been going here for about eight years and getting strawberry cheesecake almost every week. But last week I got something that was completely different than the past. It was like liquid sugar and had very little strawberries at all. I'll change this review to five star if you agree to make the strawberry cheesecake ice cream like it used to be. Many friends of mine are disappointing. **update: they have gone back to the original quality strawberry cheesecake ice cream. Whether they are making it themselves or they’re buying it from a local distributor it’s now much more tasty than the previous few months. Don’t mess with perfection Sullys.

Really great ice cream! Love that they have not only dairy-free but also a lactose-free option. I went with just the lactose-free vanilla and you cannot tell the difference!

Let me start by saying that I used to LOVE Sully's. I've been going here for years specifically for the strawberry cheesecake ice cream. I hate to admit this... but in the summer I would often buy a quart (sometimes 2) a week because it was just THAT GOOD. I've even gotten many of my friends and family members addicted to it. Unfortunately, I purchased a quart last night and it's COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. It's NO LONGER the creamy cheesecake deliciousness with strawberry gel and large chunks of cheesecake. Now, it's super sugary, with a few frozen strawberries and tons of graham cracker. It was so gross that I took one bite and tossed it. I don't know why they changed it...Maybe it's a new vendor or they themselves changed the recipe but it's awful!!!! I hope this is a temporary supply chain issue or something and it goes back to what it used to be. Otherwise, I won't be going back again.
