Local Garage Door Pros responded within an hour to our emergency repair needs! The technicians were very friendly and professional, but they were careful not to be too pushy or overbearing in any way. If people ask us who can fix anything around these parts of town with a smile on their face, we will definitely refer them to them.

Showed up on time. Replaced the garage door opener in a timely manner and is working well. The only thing that soured my experience is when I asked the tech if he could adjust my cable as the door was not operating as well as it once did, he said it would be at least an additional $95.00. I told him to go ahead and fix it and it took him two or maybe three minutes to move a "S" hook over a couple of spots and problem solved. Still got dinged the 95 bucks.

Andre and mark from local Garage door pros were very helpful and professional. Andre came out to replace and repair my garage door opener. While other companies tried to upsell me a new door, Andre knew exactly how to fix the garage door and had all necessary parts on hand. Highly recommend

Steel is a largely popular garage door material due to its design flexibility, durability, and overall value. Steel garage doors are available in an endless number of design options and provide a cheaper, more practical alternative to natural wood.
A sectional door consists of horizontal panels connected by hinges and fitted with rollers that run along two parallel tracks. It's easily the most popular style of door you'll see in residential neighborhoods.
In most cases, the difference in insulating a garage door isn't worth it. Instead, insulate the entire garage. From the floor to the walls and the ceiling, these areas are also a source of energy transference.
There are many types of garage doors to choose from - the six most common are sectional, roll-up, slide to the side, side hinged, tilt-up canopy, and tilt-up retractable. You also must decide on the door material, finish, color, and special options like windows, insulation, and hardware you want to use.
Aluminum garage doors are the cheapest type at prices.
Torsion springs usually have 5,000-20,000 cycles which means they can last between 7 to 12 years (and even more).
The average garage door opens thousands of times each year. If you've had your garage door for ten years, it has done a lot of work over its lifespan. Without proper maintenance, a garage door will have damage due to wear and tear.

In general, if you can afford it, an insulated garage door is the best long-term investment. Though insulated garage doors are more expensive than non-insulated, the energy savings and year-round usability of the garage allow the insulated door to pay for itself.
How long your garage door will last largely depends on daily usage, but also depends on the construction, door quality, maintenance and local climate. With these considerations, most doors will last 15 to 30 years. Garage door openers should reliably perform for 10 to 15 years.
Since leaving it fully open isn't a safe idea (unattended), homeowners who leave the garage up just a few inches may vent some air, but are overall adding to the strain on the door system, decreasing its lifespan.
Aluminum is naturally rust resistant. These doors durable enough to avoid rust and other damage.
The garage doors normally lasts 15 to 30 years.
If you are installing a different brand door, or even a different style within a given brand, the old track may not fit with the new door.
If your garage door has only minor damage but it's getting on in years, say it's 10 to 20 years old, you may want to consider a replacement.
The Metal On the Door Track Has Contracted When metal gets cold, it contracts. Therefore, if temperatures drop, the metal tracks on your garage door will contract, making it hard to open. So the problem might not be with your garage door opener at al
Improper Limit Setting Your automatic garage door comes with a limit setting that limits the amount of force it is allowed to exert in either opening or closing. If this setting is improper, it can cause your door to stop midway, thinking its job is done.
The most likely culprit is an obstruction. Garage doors have sensors that keep them from closing on top of an object, so you'll need to check to make sure there isn't something blocking the way
Depending on the cycle count of your garage door and how often you use your garage, cables should last 8-15 years. You can extend the life of your garage door cables by keeping up with a regular maintenance schedule.
When it comes to Garage Door Failure, the biggest culprit is lack of maintenance. You can have an older garage door out there; but if it's properly maintained, it will work as good as or better than newer garage doors that aren't being cared for.

Not all garage door issues require a professional. Just like a headache doesn’t mean a brain tumor, a squeaky garage door doesn’t necessarily mean a broken garage door. If your garage door is giving you problems, a little lubrication may be all it takes to make a big difference. If lubricant doesn’t help – then it may be time to call the professionals.
To determine what size springs you will need for replacement, you will require several key measurements. More specifically, you will need to know the length of the spring, the wire size, the inside diameter, and the wind of spring (left or right). Getting these measurements right is essential to replacing your springs. If measurements are incorrect, the garage door may not function properly, and could become a safety hazard to anyone using it.
