I wanted to like this place. I wanted this to be a place that my family wanted to return to. But I can’t say that we will be back. Like many other reviewers have said, the noise is such a major problem at this campground. It’s not the highway noise. I was aware of that going into it. It’s the other campers! The tent sights are literally piled on top of each other with no natural dividers of trees or bushes, whether you’re in the upper side of the campground or the lower wilderness section, so when you get bad luck and inconsiderate neighbors, you’re going to be miserable. The upper sections for tents have some trees cover (171-180, 90-100), but it honestly seems like a refugee camp in some areas with no visible divider between sites in a patch of grass. The lower wilderness section of tent sites is pretty rocky, so make sure you have a mallet to hammer in your tent stakes gently or you’ll bend them all. 132, 134, 136, and 142 are on slanted ground and so close together. You could literally be staring at each other awkwardly close. Also like others have mentioned, quiet hours are ignored (which start at 11pm, by the way, which I think is way too late for a “family” campground), even though they are clearly posted in the bathrooms. Coolers slamming all night. Car doors slamming all night. Car doors chirping from unlocking and locking all night. Loud people laughing and shouting all night. Glass bottles being tossed into trash bags all night. And keep in mind how close you are to these people. Cigarette smoke blowing into your tent. Weed smell blowing into your tent at night (and all day for that matter). This was not a relaxing family getaway into nature. Positive aspects of this campground were the wood delivery, trash pickup, friendly older ladies working the register in the camp store, an okay playground (minus the silver slide… that think is an accident waiting to happen for younger children), a cool jumping pillow, pizza delivery, a clean pool, and bathrooms that literally stole the show. Even if we had quiet neighbors, I’m not sure we’d still come back to camp with how close the the tent sites are. I hope this review helps other families make their decisions.

This place has everything, including a new post and beam pavilion. Camp store has homemade pizza, and hot popcorn. Staff is wonderful, some have been there for years. Seasonal from May ? to Oct.?

Nice campground, friendly staff. We camped with a group, none of us had any issues. Kids had fun playing on the jump pad and the playground. Depending on your site, you can hear the highway noise but it wasn't a deal breaker. Bathroom were very clean, and camp had trash pick up which was great. Our site was just power and electric, the power box was a nice set up. I gave it 4 stars because the dump station was poorly located where I would be blocking off a road while dumping, and on a Sunday morning when everyone is leaving, blocking the road off wasn't an option.

Our favorite campground in the whites! This place is so kid and pet friendly, and the location is perfect. We have come here every year for the past 5 years and have stay in tents, in a cabin, and on an RV site. The amenities are amazing, and their bathrooms may be the best I've seen at a campground (for those who dont have a private bathroom in their RV or cabin). They could not be more generous or accommodating, and they really go above and beyond for the kids specifically. Make sure to take the fire engine ride with your little ones, they'll love it.

No, but some offer grills for bbq cooking and you could purchase one at the store. It is a great place to stay!
That I'm not sure I never used the day care . But dog park was nice not huge but nice .
Very spotty and slow. Verizon worked well, though.
Yes there's several different spots at or near campground
Yes, every cabin, including the basic cabins, have a mini frig. All of the basic cabins have a charcoal grill and a fire pit. The deluxe cabins each have a propane grill, a microwave and a toaster oven. The deluxe cabins also have plates/cups/utensils. There is also a tree cabin, a couples cabin and a covered wagon. Such a wonderful place!!
