This state park is a wonderful family State Park the workers all polite professional youth. I'm sure they take a lot of guff because the state decided not to provide any actual food at their concession stands but these kids still smile and sell that junk food. I paddled the lake yesterday on my sup was wonderful. Parking is a breeze bathrooms are close very clean as well as the grounds are very clean. He will not be let down at this park but do not forget to bring your own food! Any of the state parks have no food :-(

Nice spot. $10 for two adults and one child. Another fee for paddle boats ($10 a half hour) and kayaks. Lots of green space (no geese poop!), Volleyball and grills. Small but acceptable beach and swimming area.

I've been coming to this park since I was a child and even 25 years later it retains it's nostalgic. "summer vacation" vibes. There's nothing like renting a pedal boat and soaking up the sun in the middle of the lake!
