I was born and raised in Springfield… just down the road a bit. I’ve lived on Hilton Head, SC for forty years. I still to this day, ONLY buy from Crowley. Hell…. I’ve turned on a boat load of people here to Crowley by simply letting them have some. Yes…. Wisconsin people too!!! Never a better cheese. I love these guys.

Even though this place is small and in the middle of almost nowhere it is worth the drive. We walked in and we're greeted with he smell of cheese and a warm welcome. We got to hear the history of cheese and their factory history. The cheeses we got to try were amazing and the prices were too. I'm happy I got to wall away with appreciating cheese even more than I already did.

Loved this small cheese factory. Ken was a great host/tour guide. Absolutely loved the cheese. Major flavor difference in this fresh made cheese versus the plastic packaged cheese I buy in the grocery store. Crowley cheese is delicious, smooth, and flavorful.

My grandfather was a member of the Cabot Creamery, Cabot Vermont, in 1919. I consider it to be a premier dairy product producer and very much enjoy their products. I also find the Grafton dairy products to be among the best in the US. However, to the embarrassment of my family I must declare Crowley to set alone as my favorite of all cheeses that I have had both in the US and foreign countries. Probably the oldest continually operating cheese factory in the US.

Hi Laura--Yes, you can absolutely order from us. You can place an order on our website (crowleycheese.com), or call us at 802-259-2340. We do have our holiday mailer from 2018 with a paper order form, as well. If you would like us to mail you that, please provide your address. Thanks! Galen
Our factory is about 20 miles southeast of Rutland, on Healdville Road, off of Route 103. In Rutland itself the Rutland Area Food Coop carries several of our cheeses. If those options don't work, tell me what your route is, and I will think of some other stores. Thanks. Galen
Yes, it is America's oldest cheese factory. But you might be surprised by what a cheese factory looked like in 1882. We also have a small shop with our cheeses and other local goodies.
