We had cold, foggy 🌫 😶‍🌫️ and wet morning at Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport for hot air balloon 🎈 festival. It was my first hot air balloon experience in upstate NY. Everything was fine but due to Covid there was no vendor around to grab hot coffee or something to eat. Special thanks for fire department and Glens Falls police department for safety and security. I will edit and add more details later.

We went to see the hot air balloons at night which was fun. This is the 1st time we have done this. It was a free Event. Getting out of the lot took some time. Hope to come back next year.

The Balloon Festival here was absolutely beautiful. Local businesses/people selling their wares, delicious food, bands playing good music and of course, a lot of hot air balloons! Almost a carnival-like atmosphere. The only drawback is getting stuck for hours in traffic to get in and out of the area during the Balloon Festival, but worth a visit.
