Be careful they blend with spoil, rotten and outdated fruits. God forbid you bring it to their attention, they become defensive. Nasty attitudes. Nutrition spot in Middletown is more pleasant, they appreciate their customers and greet their customers. They need an attitude adjustment.

I've been going to open for the past couple years and now have been going nearly every day with my one year old daughter. We love the atmosphere and how friendly the employees are. They have a huge selection of natural products and a little cafe area with the MOST delicious roasted veggie sandwich (I always get Avocado on it! Last time I got one of them sandwiches, they forgot to put avocado, and the female owner noticed it was written on my ticket to add avocado and went out of her way to correct my order). Always love it here and best part is that they accept food stamps!!! Super genuine to do that! It's really helping us struggling out here to have access to such fresh and amazing produce. Thank you ION for being such a unique and friendly vegan market (they also have different type of local meats as well!)

A broad array of products makes this store a pleasure to visit. But the customer service leaves something to be desired. To my knowledge this is not a co-op so cashiers should provide bagging services (do bring your own bag) versus expecting customers to fend for themselves.
