So quiet and relaxing place to live away from the noisy cities. π

A great place to live for you if your 55 and over. Normally something going on all the time. Not so much this year because of covid. They did do vaccinations for those who live here.

I have lived here for almost 8 years, through 3 or 4 owners, and many more management companies. Buttonwood Village was pristine 2 years ago. It was growing, improving, gorgeous. We had people taking care of it that took pride in it, and also tried to keep homeowners happy. Now, not even close. The streets are breaking up. The lawns have not been mowed in weeks, and park tidiness rules are not enforced, so unfortunately my once beautiful park is now much less desirable. Rates keep going up and up, and we get less and less for our money. If it werenβt for the wonderful people, friends, who embrace us like family, there would not be anything keeping us in this location.

I have been to Buttonwood Village several times. First time was when it was privately owned. It is hard to compare the Buttonwood of a few years back to what it looks like today. Starting with the beautiful entrance, it now says welcome to a well maintained community. Very friendly knowledgeable staff .The Grand Opening as well as other "open house" days gives you the opportunity to meet the staff as well as see the homes that are available & to learn about the future plans for the community. The nature walk area is just an additional bonus. I Love the idea of a small community that is convent to the area downtown attractions. Buttonwood Village says come live here and enjoy the best of both worlds of Punta Gorda , friendly covenant and affordable.

You are looking at over $650 a month. Garbage pick up, water and a terrible lawn service is included. Matter a fact lots of residents have begun to mow their own lawns.
The lot is owned by the company. You own the home on it and can be a member of the HOA.
Under 20 lbs
Call the clubhouse and talk to management
I believe only one person has to be 55
They don't rent units anymore.
Yes
Very tough to find. Plenty of postings on bulletin board right now looking for seasonal rent openings.
Depends where your lot is but expect to pay over $600 wherever you are in the park.
Lot rents are $645 per month. Nearer to water usually carries higher insurance costs. Park management is terrible.
Sorry we aren't renting our home out. Good luck.
